Last night while J.R. was at scouts Barbara put on his flip flops and walked around for about ten minutes saying things like "Chop chop! Let's go", "let's go to the store now, chop chop!", and "Baby John lets go, chop chop!" It was so silly!
I feel liked this story should be backed by where "chop chop" came from. Ever since J.R. got home from his mission he would say "Chop chop lau ling suk sabai" which is a statment he learned on his mission that is suppose to be cambodian for "hurry up the boat is leaving." He has sinced shortened it to "chop chop" which he will say when it is time to go and people are dragging their feet about leaving.
