J.R. is so wonderful! He's hardworking, smart, funny, independent, confident, a genius, driven, and the love of my life! There are so many wonderful things he has done so far this year. To name a few he finished his associated degree! He has almost single handedly started
AZ Concrete Counter Tops! For the company he created their web sight, designed and had printed post cards, pamphlets, and business cards, he regularly puts adds on craigs list, and he makes sure his web sight pops up on google search, he creates databases to be able to keep track of the work that is done, he has also created one that makes it easy to know what is needed to create a certain color outcome! So far him and his partner Sam have completed two counter tops, of which both were greatly loved! He is creative with his marketing, and is ambitious about selling his product. He is a very genius business man that will go far in life! He strongly desires to work for himself and be able to see first hand the fruits of his labor. He also desires that if his hard work is going to make someone rich, he wants it to be him.

With some of our tax returns we purchased a play set for the backyard, which he single handedly assembled, the kids love it! He has fixed the dishwasher twice this year, this last time was only a few days ago, it had stopped working and he was thinking that we were going to have to buy a new motor or pump, but it turned out to be a malfunction in the circuit board which he was able to sauter back together, and then he also took the time to clean out all the gross buildup on all of the dishwasher parts! It's almost like having a brand new dishwasher, and I am loving how handy and smart he is! He has also started helping his buddy Sam out with throwing the AZ Republic, he wakes up every morning at two am, and then pulls an 8 hour shift at work, comes home and works on his concrete business for a while, and then goes to bed. The kids and I don't get to see him much, but he is hopping in the long run he will be able to get his company to a place where it can make him a high enough income that he can quite and dedicate his time the concrete counter top business. And in the long run have more free time. His current new found hobby is fishing of a boat and this year alone we have gone through several boats in order for him to find the right one. He seems to be happy with the one he's working on right now which is a 18' fiberglass boat that supposedly doesn't leak, and that he's really excited to fix up. He's the kinda guy that always has to have a project or something to work on or he goes a little crazy! The kids love him to death! Barbara goes crazy if he leaves without giving him a hug! Seriously she'll cry for ten minuets, non stop saying "he didn't give me a hug" over and over again. She also loves to "scare" him when he gets home from work by "hiding" and then jumping out at him, if he makes it inside without her hiding she gets supper sad.

John gets really excited when he comes home and says "didi didi" over and over again. He'll try and show him something that is exciting or he'll give him a big hug!

You can tell that little man already absolutely adores him! We are all very blessed to have J.R.!

He is the best thing that ever happened to me! I have learned so much from him, and am constantly learning new things! He is my best friend and I hope to grow old with him, and live with him throughout the eternities!
